Evil butterflies
I always thought butterflies were friendly little animals ;-)

Microsoft Security Essentials released
Tuesday Microsoft released it's new virusscanner Security Essentials which is free for users of Genuine Windows XP, Vista and 7. It replaces Microsoft's Live OneCare software, however it does not feature backup and firewall software.
Microsoft Security Essentials provides real-time protection for your home PC that guards against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.
Windows 7 ready!
Wednesday Microsoft announced Windows 7 is ready! As a satisfied Vista user (yeah, I am probably one of few...) I can't wait to run Windows 7, hope it's in stores soon.

Swine flu survivors
Rather strange website I ran into: http://www.flusurvivors.com/. Shows the number of people who didn't die from the swine flu yet.
Wake-up with e-mail, Twitter, and more!
Since a few weeks I am the proud owner of a Chumby. This device looks and acts like an alarm clock but it can do much more. Hundreds of widgets allow you to Twitter, read RSS feeds, E-mail, view webcams and much more! The Chumby runs on Linux, uses wireless Internet and is just GREAT, specially for a gadget freak like me. Hard to get in Europe unfortunately, but not impossible as I have one here ;-)
Chat with... someone?
Bored? Feel like chatting to somebody completely strange? You can on Omegle! This website connects you random to another user of it's website for a personal one-on-one chat. It's webbased, so no difficult stuff, just chat! Fun for a rainy day...
All your PC's in your Mesh
I've been using it for a while now, and using it more and more each day: Windows Live Mesh. This is a great solution for managing and synchronizing multiple PC's, for example a desktop and laptop, and even more PC's.
